FOR PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS

Markel FACTS Defensive Driving Program

A full day with over-the-road training, Markel FACTS program guides participants through practical, hands-on training that includes in-class instructor demonstrations, in-vehicle training and constructive feedback to reinforce defensive driving principles.

Designed for drivers needing introductory training or to address driver skill gaps, Markel FACTS full-day defensive driving program delivers practical information for drivers to improve their driving performance.


Half-Day Theory

The Markel FACTS half-day program is designed for drivers to provide refresher training in defensive driving principles. It will increase the participant’s knowledge in defensive driving techniques and improve hazard recognition and decision-making skills.

Students will earn a Markel FACTS Defensive Driving certificate for these completed programs.


Markel FACTS Driver Coach

Markel FACTS two-day Driver Coach was designed for individuals who complete over-the-road driver evaluations and provide day-to-day coaching feedback. Markel instructors guide each driver coach through defensive driving principles, how to objectively assess defensive driving skills and how to provide constructive feedback.

Includes instructor-lead, in-class and in-vehicle demonstrations as well as provides a hands-on opportunity for driver coaches to apply the principles they have learned.

Students will earn a Markel FACTS Driver Coach certificate for this completed program.
